FAQ
General Practice
At Young Street Medical, our doctors are fully qualified General Practitioners (GPs) who are registered in Australia. Many of our practitioners have additional training and a special interest in integrative medicine, combining conventional medical care with evidence-based approaches such as lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and holistic health strategies. This allows us to provide personalised, whole-person care tailored to your individual health needs.
Appointments & Bookings
New patient consults range from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the doctor and follow up appointments are usually 30 -45 minutes.
Please bring your Medicare card, ID, any relevant medical records, test results, and a list of medications or supplements you are currently taking.
Some of our doctors have specific requirements for new patients and you will be alerted of this when booking.
If you are transferring care from another clinic or seeing one of our integrative GP’s, you are advised to do a transfer of records form and provide it to your other/old practice well in advance of your appointment. Your old practice will facilitate the transfer of your records to us securely. Our GP’s will then have access to your full patient history, including test results, and can provide you with the most comprehensive and thorough consultation.
All requests require an appointment.
Please do not call or email the practice and ask our reception team to ask your GP to provide you with a script of referral.
Dr Middleton & Dr Grey have routine requests available through HotDoc, where you can request a script or referral. – * terms and conditions apply
